Set in spacious grassland with ancient trees for shade, the old farmhouse contains hotel rooms, dining room, a small bar overlooking the kitchen garden, and a terrace for dining and relaxing. The traditionally-built stone Garden Suites are spread through the grounds, with the pool nearby.

The stunning pool is a real focal point. Its sharp modernist lines and the use of dark blocks of rugged local basalt, plus a slightly romanesque layout, make this a really striking feature. There are plenty of loungers around the pool for both sunlovers and shadeseekers, plus a hydromassage pool and covered relaxation area.

Mandra Edera is easily reached from Alghero airport - it is c. one hour's drive. Guests ideally need a car if they are intending to explore the surrounding area, as this is a rural location and public transport extremely limited.
